Limit 6 participants for Wheel Throwing Experiences

If you have signed up in advance and learn you can not attend that date, please notify Tanya@cedaroakfarm.org at least 2 weeks prior to your event for a refund or to change dates. There is a 10% processing fee for cancellations. Cancellation less than 1 week prior to the event may transfer to another date within 30 days but will not be eligible for a refund. All cancellations within 3 days or less of the event are no longer eligible for a date transfer or refund.

Should Cedar Oak Farm Pottery cancel an event due to weather, low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstance, you may elect to sign up for another date with available space or receive a full refund.

    Never worked with clay before? You are in the right place. Join us for some fun and plan to get a little dirty.

    What’s included in Experiences and Workshops:

    • Orientation/meet and greet

    • Tools, Towel, Apron and materials for the class are provided

    • Instruction and guidance while you create

    • Choose a glaze and clean up (Unless otherwise noted)

    • We’ll finish your pieces for you.

    Base Price: $100 per participant. Participants will help clean-up their space before deciding on one glaze for your artwork. 5 glazes to choose from.

    VIP Upgrade: Additional $30/ person. You choose from a larger selection of glazes and we cleanup your workspace.

    Your artwork will be ready in about 4 weeks.

    PLEASE NOTE: Items must be picked up within 60 days of notification that your pieces are completed. Shipping can be provided for an additional fee. Pieces will be donated or discarded after 60 days.

  • Hands on opportunity to learn on the potters wheel. We finish your pieces for you.

  • Hands on wheel throwing experience. We finish the work for you.

  • Hands on opportunity to learn slab rolling and other techniques to make a Charcuterie board! Have a hand-made plater for the upcoming holiday season.

  • Try your hand on the wheel and have fun getting dirty. We will finish your pieces for you.

  • A great time to have some fun making a handmade pumpkin and witch -

    They will be ready in time for Halloween!

Private Clay Experience Cost

  • 1 person - $125 - 1 hour

  • 2+ people - $125 per person 2 hours

  • you choose 1 glaze for each piece made from a selection of 5 glazes.

  • Plus package: Additional $30 per person.
    Choose from a larger selection of glazes and we clean-up your workspace.

  • Private One-on-One Masterclass: A completely tailored, 3-hour private lesson and clay experience with Tanya, customized entirely to your creative goals.

  • The Artisanal Farm Picnic: Unwind after your lesson with a gourmet, locally sourced charcuterie lunch and drink pairing, beautifully served on our hand-crafted ceramic tableware at a private, scenic spot on the farm.

  • An Instructor-Made Original: Enjoy a piece made for you and with you. Spend time watching and providing input as a piece is created for you to select the glazes and keep.

  • White-Glove Studio Service: Skip the cleanup. Walk straight from the wheel to your picnic while we handle the rest. Your finished masterpieces will be expertly glazed, fired, and shipped directly to your doorstep.

Pricing starts at $500 per person. Due to the highly curated nature of this experience, dates are strictly limited.
